• Usage Data: Pages processed, extraction history, and feature usage to improve our service.
• Payment Information: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card details.

2. How We Use Your Documents

Your documents are processed securely and never stored permanently.

• PDFs are processed in memory and immediately discarded after extraction.
• We do not retain, share, or use your document contents for any purpose other than providing the extraction service.
• Extracted text is stored temporarily in your account history for your convenience and can be deleted at any time.

3. Data Security

• All data transmission is encrypted using TLS/SSL.
• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with industry-standard security.
• We implement rate limiting and security headers to protect against attacks.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Anthropic (Claude AI): Powers our extraction engine. Document content is sent for processing but not retained by Anthropic.
• Stripe: Handles payment processing securely.
• Railway/Vercel: Cloud hosting providers.

5. Your Rights

• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Export your extraction history.
• Opt out of marketing communications.

6. Chrome Extension

The PullPDF Chrome Extension:

• Only accesses PDFs when you explicitly click to extract.
• Stores your API key locally in Chrome storage.
• Does not track browsing history or collect data in the background.
• Requires permissions to read PDFs and communicate with our API.
